“This travel tin is named for the Navajo Beauty Way. It represents a traditional way of seeing and living in the world. The Beauty Way keeps us in harmony and is a way of honoring our sacred connection with the ancestors. It showed not just a way of understanding but a way of being. In our Navajo world Juniper and Sage brush were used as part of our daily lives. They have practical and spiritual uses as well as medicinal. It seemed appropriate that we name this balm with two of our most sacred plant medicines in it for our Holy way of living the Beauty Way.”

Sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata) has anti-microbial powers and helps to heal minor skin issues. Juniper (Juniperus communis) is also anti-microbial, helps heal small wounds, and has a cleansing, positive effect on the spirit.
