This is a concentrate, two to three times stronger than ordinary liquid soap, so it is mixed with water before use. The label carries nine dilution recipes: body wash, hand soap, shampoo, facial cleanser, dish soap, produce wash, cleaning spray, laundry and pet shampoo. It is unscented, with no added fragrance and no essential oils, and the whole ingredient list is water, an organic blend of nine plant oils, potassium hydroxide and vegetable glycerin. If you have found castile soap harsh before, it was almost certainly not diluted enough.
