Ballykeefe Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey

We snagged a Wisconsin exclusive single pot still Irish whiskey, that we can't wait to share with you this St. Patrick's week. 

 

Ballykeefe is an entirely independent, family-owned Single Estate Whiskey Distillery built in 2016. This Irish Single Pot Still Whiskey is triple distilled from barley sown, grown and harvested on the family farm, located in County Kilkenny, Ireland. 

Farm distilleries are exceedingly rare anywhere, but this is one of the only ones we've encountered in Ireland. In addition to being single estate, it's also single cask, with each bottle individually numbered. 

Oh, and it's incredibly delicious! Notes of freshly baked bread, birch soda, cherry wood, musk melon, black pepper and dark honey. Complex and engaging!  We'll have a bottle open through the weekend for you to try, but don't wait too long - you might miss out!
