We have summoned these to create a singular spirit\u003cbr\u003ethat is a true collector’s item for connoisseurs of American single malt.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBEGINNING A NEW CHAPTER\u003cbr\u003eMaster distiller Lance Winters joined St. George in 1996 to create a truly\u003cbr\u003eoriginal American Single Malt, and while we have received many accolades,\u003cbr\u003ewe continue to push the boundaries of where the category can go. In\u003cbr\u003epreparation for this momentous release, head distiller Dave Smith spent\u003cbr\u003emonths meticulously working through our casks. Of the 600+ we sampled,\u003cbr\u003eonly 30 made the initial cut, with a mere 14 being used to create the whiskey\u003cbr\u003eyou now hold. Sourced from barrels that range from four years old to one\u003cbr\u003eof the earliest casks we laid down, it speaks to our past, present, and future.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTASTING NOTES\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNose: Opens with vibrant cola over dark chocolate and lager. Over time,\u003cbr\u003ecreamy notes of brown butter and salted caramel emerge laced with fennel\u003cbr\u003eand sandalwood. Patience reveals candied berry and sweet coconut.\u003cbr\u003ePalate: The initial hit is classic St. George made deeper: dark chocolate\u003cbr\u003egoes to walnut fudge and latte. Amber malt mingles with buttered waffle.\u003cbr\u003eThen, the coconut arrives and the spice notes begin to reveal themselves.\u003cbr\u003eCinnamon and clove are amplified by candied ginger. Stonefruit appears,\u003cbr\u003ethen takes on more tropical undertones.
